The images are taken in places where nature has been re-enacted by humans almost from scratch: former landfill sites, quarries, canals, unused military grounds.
I have created many projects based on my visits to these sites. This one is a more personal aesthetic experience, of past, present and future, inevitably shaped by the world we live in today, which I summarise as a world in flux and tension. A lot of unknowns that we are all trying to project into the future.
